I'm Ryan, the founder behind Felicity's Fire. Born and raised in Northern Ireland, food has always shaped my life. My journey started in professional kitchens, learning from the ground up and perfecting my craft for over twenty years. Chilli peppers soon became my obsession, not just for their bold heat, but for their vibrant complexity and the way they bring dishes to life. My curiosity about nutrition and natural ingredients grew alongside my passion for intense flavours, steering me towards something entirely different.

For years, I worked in some incredible kitchens, always searching for deeper meaning in the food I made. My first hands-on entry into artisan hot sauce came while experimenting in a busy fish restaurant,with some brilliant colleagues, where we refined and fermented chillies to unlock amazing flavours. It was here that my interest in food production, not just cooking, set fire to my imagination. Realising that most commercial sauces lacked function and true flavour led me to explore traditional methods and thoughtful, health-centred recipes.

Felicity's Fire has a name with deep significance. Ten years ago, my partner and I faced unimaginable loss when our daughter, Felicity McCartney-Phelan, was born still. This heartbreak changed us forever.

In her honour, Felicity's Fire was born, not only to share her name with the world but to keep her spirit alive.

Every drop of our handmade hot sauce is dedicated to her, and every bottle is filled with the purpose of bringing warmth, happiness, and strength to others, reflecting the joy she brought to our lives.
